They Live!

I found names and faces and personalities for all of the main characters in my coming novel.

They are tangible beings to me now; I can't wait to know even more about them.

This is very exciting!

NaNoWriMo 2009: I Signed Up!

I signed up to participate in National Novel Writing Month.

So, what is NaNoWriMo?

National Novel Writing Month is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing November 1. The goal is to write a 175-page (50,000-word) novel by midnight, November 30.

In short, it is one month of insane novel writing fun all done by someone who has no idea what they are doing! I have never written anything before in my life. Why did I think this was a good idea?
